What is your approach to counselling?

I take a person-centred approach, meaning our sessions are guided by your needs. However, I also integrate other therapeutic approaches where helpful, ensuring a tailored and supportive experience.

Who do you work with?

I offer counselling to adults and young people from all backgrounds. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or just need a space to explore your thoughts, I’m here to support you.

How long does each session last?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes. We can discuss frequency and duration based on your needs.

How much does counselling cost?

My session fees are £60 per session. I may offer concessions for students or those on low income—please ask if this applies to you.

Do you offer online or telephone counselling?

Yes, I offer both online and telephone sessions, as well as in-person appointments. This provides flexibility to suit your lifestyle and comfort.

How do I book a session?

What happens in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to counselling, what you hope to gain, and how we might work together moving forward.

 

Is counselling confidential?

Yes, everything we discuss is confidential. The only exceptions are if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case I may need to break confidentiality to ensure safety.

 

How many sessions will I need?

This varies for everyone. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll regularly review your progress to ensure you’re getting what you need.
